At the World Hair Institute, we don’t strive for “good enough” we aspire to be life-changing for our clients’. Our standards and methods allow us to transform thinning, fragile hair and restore hair loss with our unique techniques and hair replacement systems.
Mette is a Wig Master! I have purchased wigs and also brought in my older wigs for adjustments. I have unrealistic expectations, but Mette was able to exceed my expectations! The hair looks like it is growing out of my scalp. Al is a great stylist and also does amazing work!
These ladies did a horrible job. Do not go here. Mette promised one thing and did a horrible job along with Brenda. They convinced me to choose them and I did and ended up losing a lot of money. They have no idea what they are doing.
I am a big fan of Cyberhair sold by World Hair Institute because it is beautiful, light, and easy to care for. It goes into water and comes out beautiful. Unfortunately I received a disastrous cut in a Michigan salon, so I traveled to Chicago by train to visit the company headquarters for a recut.Brenda was my stylist at the Chicago shop. She did an amazing job restoring my system. Where the poor cut left a great product flat, uneven, and tangled. My hair is now fluffy, even, and easily combed. My friends have all said how great it looks now. I am so happy with my experience.The World Hair Institute stands by its products and Brenda is a great stylist.
Mette put in my weft extensions in November 2021 after medical treatment that caused some hair loss. I am more than thrilled with my hair. Prior to coming to World Hair Institute I had strand by strand extensions for years, the difference in weft extensions and strand by stands is amazing for me. No one can see the wefts, which was not the case with strand by strand clips. Anytime I wear my hair up or pull it back, the wefts are not noticeable. Also, my current extensions never fall or pull out like the strand by strand used to. I am very happy with my decision to travel down to Chicago for Mette’s expertise.

The apprehension that I felt walking into a hair replacement studio, soon disappeared when I was greeted by the WHI team. They were welcoming, knowledgeable, and cared about my needs and expectations. The owner, Mette, took time to explain my options, and took pains to make certain that I understood all that she shared. I ended up choosing a top piece constructed of CyberHair, a manmade fiber that reacts as if it were human hair. Being that I am a swimmer and enjoy the outdoors, it was the perfect choice for me, as it reacts to water as human hair does, and is not affected by the sun. I feel fortunate to have found this group, and will continue to return to them for my hair needs. (Unless, of course, my hair grows back!)
Charged my card for a purchase that I never made I told them I already paid and they still charged me. This company is so disorganized that they cant keep their records straight
