Cicatricial Alopecia & Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia

RESTORE YOUR HAIR & YOUR SELF-CONFIDENCE

If You Have This Rare Form of Alopecia, Finding the Right Solution Can Be Challenging.

Cicatricial Alopecia, also known as Scarring Alopecia, and Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia, are challenging conditions that can make hair replacement feel hopeless. Though these forms of alopecia affect men, women, and even children worldwide, options for natural-looking hair restoration have been extremely limited—until recently.

At World Hair Institute, we’ve seen first-hand how traditional solutions often fall short of expectations. Many pre-made systems are too bulky, too heavy, and too rigid—overloading delicate hair and offering little freedom in styling. Most manufacturers simply don’t address the unique needs of those experiencing scarring or frontal fibrosing alopecia.

That’s why we developed our own breakthrough: a lightweight, flexible solution designed to blend seamlessly with your natural growing hair. It’s breathable, comfortable, and allows for styling freedom—while remaining gentle on sensitive or scarred areas of the scalp.

We’re here to help you look and feel like yourself again.

COMMON FRONTAL FIBROSING ALOPECIA

Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia is typically characterized by a receding hairline in a band-like pattern—from temple to temple, or sideburn to sideburn. It can also affect eyebrows and other facial hair.

CICATRICIAL ALOPECIA (SCARRING ALOPECIA)

This rare condition causes permanent hair loss as hair follicles are destroyed and replaced with scar tissue below the skin’s surface. While the scarring is not visible, it can lead to inflammation, discomfort, and in some cases, pain. Cicatricial Alopecia is not contagious and affects otherwise healthy men and women of all ages—though it is rarely seen in children.
